S. McCandlish –
This collection of mini-scale hex bits is fantastic, and the accompanying driver is perfect for tight spaces. I appreciate that it comes with spudgers and other essential tools for electronics work. The case is also a highlight; while I have several hard case bit sets, a soft roll-up case is much more practical for a portable toolbag to take to client sites, as it saves space and unfolds flat. I customized it by adding some of my preferred tools and removing a few I won’t be using.
Some of the spudgers and prying tools feel a bit too soft for my liking. While I understand that the plastic ones are designed to prevent damage to screens and finishes, they seem slightly softer than ideal. However, these tools are easy to replace, even in bulk, so it’s not an issue for anyone who plans to use them often. The set includes several oversized guitar pick-like tools, which are meant to be disposable.
It does come with metal spudgers as well. I’ve used the wide one multiple times to “shuck” external drives and repurpose the internal disks. Although the tool can get bent during use, it’s simple to straighten out. I haven’t used the small-headed metal prying tool much yet.
The standout feature of this set is the wide selection of mini-bits, compatible with other mini-bit drivers and sets. You can easily use them with a ratcheting driver, a slim manual one, or a right-angle driver. The assortment includes a surprisingly diverse range of bits, covering most “security” types. You might think, “I’ll never need these,” but then you find yourself in a situation where you do, wishing you had that set. Just last week, I needed a triangle-head bit for the first time to fix a Thomas the Tank Engine motorized toy with a loose wire, as the manufacturer uses unusual screws to deter tampering with the electrical components.
The only downside is that these bits are “consumer grade.” I’m not sure if ultra-hard, impact-rated bits in this size even exist. Generally, brands in this category seem to offer similar quality, and it’s easy to damage a bit (especially a Phillips) with rough handling, which often leads to stripped screw heads and driver tips. Overall, the Kaisi set is standard for this type of product and not inferior to anything else I’ve encountered.
P.S.: There are many similar kits available, but I chose this one for its reasonable price and recognizable brand. While not as common in North America, Kaisi is well-known in Asia and specializes in tools for soldering and electronics, including precision sets for cell phones and laptops. I already had some of their other products on my wishlist from Wish and AliExpress when I ordered this, and I’ve since discovered that most of their tools are also available on Amazon, which means I won’t have to wait for shipping from China or Hong Kong.

I originally purchased a small set from Jaycar Australia to fix my son’s Nintendo Switch Joycon, but the tools advertised for Nintendo repairs had Y tips that were too large. This set, however, includes everything you need, including the Y-00. The build quality is excellent, and it comes nicely packaged in a durable pouch.
Amazon Customer –
I purchased this toolkit to tackle some repairs and seize the opportunity to invest in a good set of tools. It turned out to be precisely what I was looking for. The toolset is quite comprehensive, and everything functioned perfectly. This made the repairs straightforward, as the tools were ideal for the tasks at hand. Overall, the quality of the components is excellent, and I would definitely recommend this toolkit to anyone in need of their own repair tools.
Andrew Miller –
These tools are useful for me when reviewing computer equipment.
Mark –
This is an excellent set of tool bits for laptop and PC repairs. It includes all the necessary bits and is made from sturdy materials that won’t strip like cheaper alternatives.
Alex Garcia –
This kit has a lot to offer. Kaisi produces some of the best budget-friendly tools, and most components of this set are excellent. However, there is one major point to consider.
The set comes in a well-designed folding pouch, and all the bits are slightly magnetic, which helps secure them in the extension arm. It includes a diverse range of bits that will accommodate nearly all electronic repair needs. Additionally, it features high-quality tweezers and pry tools.
All the bits are intended to fit into the main screwdriver provided. Unfortunately, the included driver is rather average. While it has a tension head, which is typical for kits like this, it can be a bit tricky when changing bits. This is the primary distinction between this set and more expensive options, such as those from iFixit.
In conclusion, if you are comfortable using that type of driver, this kit is an excellent choice. Personally, I prefer to use these bits with a different driver, but the kit remains very useful for me.
Guido Zakaroff –
This is an incredibly durable and sturdy kit; it’s undoubtedly the best screwdriver set I’ve ever owned. It will definitely assist you every single time.
Renan –
When my order arrived, I found that 30 of the bits were just loosely scattered in the case. Initially, I thought they had shifted during shipping, so I started the tedious process of putting them back in their proper places. However, I quickly realized that almost half of the bits were actually in the wrong slots. What I thought was 30 misplaced bits turned into a daunting task of organizing 70 pieces. As I worked through this, I noticed a significant number of duplicates, but there were not enough corresponding slots for them. In total, I ended up with 4 duplicate bits but was missing 3, which means I have 7 bits unaccounted for. Frustratingly, I discovered that at least 40 bits were placed in the wrong slots—there’s no way that many could have just fallen out during shipping. I decided to return the set and will gladly pay a little extra for better quality. I suggest you skip this one; I’ve noticed that many others have experienced similar issues, but mine feels particularly extreme, or perhaps I’m just the only one checking each bit for its correct slot.

I purchased this toolkit for light tech tasks, specifically to fully disassemble and clean my PS5 and graphics card. It gets the job done. While the bits aren’t as durable as those from pricier kits, just be cautious not to over-tighten. I do wish the bits were magnetic, but given the price, I can’t really complain. Once I invest in a higher-quality kit, I’ll keep this one in my car for any unexpected situations.
RAUL ORTIZ BARREDA –
In just a few words, I can say it’s an excellent product.

This tool has all the essentials, particularly for fixing electronics. The bits are sturdy and have a nice weight, fitting securely in place. It even includes a magnetizer for the bits. The plastic screwdriver is lightweight, but the heavier bits create an oddly comfortable feel when working against gravity. Overall, it’s an incredible value!
Alex Garcia –
This product performs exceptionally well; none of the components have snapped or broken yet. Overall, it was a fantastic purchase, and I would definitely recommend it.
