The included magnetic tip is handy for picking up fallen metal objects that are out of reach. The case lid is secured with four corner magnets, and the external cardboard packaging provides a list of all the included bits. Inside, the bits are held in place by a black material that has the size and description of each bit pressed into it. However, the small size of the impressions makes them hard to read, especially for those with vision difficulties. I suggest that ifixit replace the external list with a layout that has a white background and black print for better visibility. Aside from this, I highly recommend this driver set.

This kit truly has everything I’ve ever wanted in precision screwdrivers. I own over 30 precision screwdrivers of various types, and until now, they all shared a common flaw: they were terrible. Most are poorly made, with tips that bend or wear out quickly, uncomfortable grips, and small handles often made of cheap plastic. The top pressure rest either gets stuck with the handle or is extremely uncomfortable, or both.
When I first encountered the iFixit interchangeable bit precision screwdriver (from another iFixit kit), I immediately recognized it as the best precision driver I’d ever used. The handle is comfortable, all rotating parts operate smoothly, and it feels just right in hand. The grip is solid without being uncomfortable, and the slender magnetic bit holder allows access to tight spaces. The bits are well-constructed from quality steel, unlike the cheap ones I’ve encountered in other kits. The variety of bits included is outstanding—everything you need for any project and then some! I primarily purchased it for the pentalobe and torx bits, but the collection is so comprehensive that I won’t need to search for any extra bits for those odd screws.
Using the rest of this kit is a joy. The case is sturdy and shuts securely with magnets at the corners, which was a nice surprise. It conveniently doubles as a parts tray to keep screws organized. The bits are neatly arranged in a foam insert with engraved symbols and lettering for easy reference, and the bits themselves are also engraved. The flexible extension is excellent, with the same smooth rotation as the handle and two spinning grips (one at the top and one at the bottom) to enhance the kit’s capabilities. The angled presentation of the bits is both visually appealing and practical, making it easier to find the bit you need. I’ve even found that I can place a bit I’m using back into the case and angle it the other way to keep it from getting lost while still being easy to grab.
There are a couple of standard-sized bits included that work with this handle, which is handy for other small screwing tasks if this is your only tool. However, larger screwdrivers might be more suitable for those jobs, even though these bits can reach places that full-size ones cannot. The included adapter for standard bits is functional but not ideal since it lacks an internal magnet.
Overall, I highly recommend this kit to anyone in need of a reliable set of precision screwdrivers. Don’t settle for cheap plastic; I regret every single precision driver I purchased before finding this kit.
